Meet Our Instructor: Deborah Green

Deborah L. Green,C-IAYT, E-RYT-500, YACEP, has years of experience as a yoga instructor working with clients from high school to NCAA collegiate sports teams, seniors, kids and disabled. In 2018, she embarked on a journey to become a certified yoga therapist overseeing care for clients from sports performance & health acute/chronic conditions. Learn more She has served as a college professor of yoga teaching beginning yoga courses to undergraduate students. In 2014, she was featured in the Competitor Magazine and was first female athlete to win four consecutive titles in cross country and outdoor track for Baltimore City Public Schools. She is founder and owner of the Grace Beauty Speed Organization® , a certified USA Track & Field Coach, State of Maryland Notary Public and American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED/ First Aid certified. She has developed yoga programs and served as a guest speaker for various organizations, including DC Retired Teacher's Union, Enoch Pratt Free Library, Park Heights Community Health Alliance, American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and American Medstar Health, and a host of churches and institutions. As a therapist/instructor she brings a host of knowledge/experience to clients, teaching yoga and continuing education courses for students to better understand teaching techniques, methodology, anatomy and physiology and philosophy of yoga.
